Have you ever wondered how you can tell if that badge a person is showing you is legitimate?

SymbolArts creates badges, challenge coins, and identification systems for law enforcement and security.

Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out from the site how to answer the lead in question. The sad truth is that anything an authoratative source can put on a badge can be placed on a similar looking badge by a scammer.

The site does provide images of badges used by different occupations.
