Food Insurance
Is food the next gold?
The rising price of fuel, water and land coupled with the weakening dollar means that food prices could soar.
Increased global and domestic tensions also raise the possibility of food disruptions.
In these days of radical change, many people are placing a portion of their portfolio into food.
Food Insurance is a shop out of Kayesville offering emergency food prepatedness kits. A single kit contains two weeks of food for a standard adult.
The kits have a shelf life of 25 years. I like to rotate the light weight freezed dried food out into my camping gear every five years of so ... to keep the selection fresh.
As the price of food is likely to go up, it is makes sense to invest in emergency rations.
