America First Credit Union
Established in 1939 as the Fort Douglas Civilian Credit Union to serve members of the National Federation of Federal Employees at Fort Douglas in Salt Lake, America First Credit Union has grown to be the seventh largest credit union in the United States with over 100 locations serving Utah and Southern Nevada
The Credit Union moved to Ogden in 1947 where it took on the name Federal Employees Credit Union serving members of Hill Airforce Base and the Naval Supply Depot in Clearfield.
In 1984, Utah Chartered Credit Unions were allowed to start serving the general public and the credit union changed its name to America First Credit Union.
In August 2009, America First acquired Community One Federal Credit Union in Nevada.*
